What's coming for online poker in 2013
VIPs are going to benefit
There are now many poker rooms available online and each one of them offers something different for their players. Each and every one of the poker rooms that you can find on the internet today, will give you the opportunity to make some cash, but there are certainly some that are better than others and there are also some that will be surprising their VIPs and other members with some incredible promotions and opportunities during 2013.
Poker rooms need to change their yearly promotions, because there will be new real live tournaments for players to register to and there will also be constant changes, as to what you can do online and the interface that you use to play. These innovations make playing poker or gambling online a lot more interesting and it is surely why so many poker rooms and other online casinos are already preparing some great things for this New Year that is barely getting started.
Like always, PokerStars is one of the most important poker rooms and they are already preparing some of the promotions that they will be offering their VIP players during 2013. PokerStars has already made public that their new VIP promotions will begin on January 1st and that they will only keep getting better from then on.
Now, VIP players at PokerStars, will be able to have a Chrome Star, which is made up from the Bronze Star and Silver Star levels. Those who can reach this level will have the same benefits that a common Bronze Star player has, but they will also have the opportunity to play in a 500 Euros tournament every day, for a small buy in fee of five frequent player points.
PokerStars also made public that the requirements for becoming a Silver Star or Gold Star player will be a lot easier to achieve during 2013, than on previous years, which is certainly something that will help a lot of poker players from this site, to get access to better promotions and game play opportunities. Now, players will only need 500 VPP to become a Silver Star player, instead of the 750 VPPs that were needed during 2012. The Gold Star VPP points will be reduced from 3000 to 2500, which is certainly a lot of help for all those players who are looking to advance in this level rating.
PokerStars has also announced that they will be hosting four VIP tournaments for all those Platinum Star members and players with a higher status. These tournaments will have a guaranteed prize pool of 15000 Euros and they will take place on February 16th, June 1st, August 17th and November 16th.
Players will not have to wait for these tournaments to have some fun, as the action will start as early as January. The first day of the year, will begin a race for the Super Nova and Super Nova Elite status, which will be another opportunity to earn a large sum of cash, if you are able to beat all of the other players. These prizes will be in the range of 55000 Euros and they will be given out to the players who can achieve 100000, 500000 and 1000000 VPP over the year.
Players who register for some of the tournaments at PokerStars, will also have the opportunity to get 50% more of VIP points, if they are capable of reaching some of the weekly VPP goals. It is clear that playing at PokerStars is going to be one of the greates opportunities of 2013, as they will have promotions from the first day of the year until the last. You could not really ask for anything else, as these are promotions that you will not find anywhere else and that will really make your online poker experience a whole lot better.
