Recently Sam Trickett split with the Titans after two most happening years with the company. He had signed up with Titan Poker back in 2010. The two years he had been with the company were eventful and he enjoyed working with the Titans. In recent times the British pro, Trickett has earned the name of the best young poker player in the world. To his credit, he has won many tournaments and large sums in cash games. Early this year he was also named The Player of the Year at the European Poker Awards. He was in contest with other renowned names of the game like world champion Pius Heinz, Jake Cody, Bertrand ‘Elky’ Grospellier, Andrey Pateychuk, and Eugene.

He was also featured on the cover page of the March 21, 2012 edition of CardPlayer Magazine’s U.S. edition.

Trickett who is a CORGI registered gas engineer wanted to be a professional soccer player but as fate would have it because of an unfortunate knee injury in 2005 he had to quit perusing his dream. Instead, he focused on this new career option and he has successfully achieved a total lifetime winning of $6,359,096. Trickett is considered to be among the top pro players of Team Titan. With his incredible skills, his winning in 2011 and 2010 has been $4,598,038 and $1,071,356 respectively.

The news of Trickett leaving Team Titan came via a Twitter message by Trickett. Titan Poker is yet to declare this latest development officially. This is the second pro player who has announced leaving the company. The first one was Marvin Rettenmaier who had departed with the company over the weekend. Both these pro players had two excellent seasons and there seemed to be no problem between them and the company. It is assumed that the decision to quit was purely on business grounds and they have departed their ways on good terms.
